Africa Check and Fojo Media Institute are inviting African fact-checkers and journalists with a keen interest in fact-checking to apply for a 12-day fact-checking fellowship programme.
The programme will be conducted in English and, depending on Covid-19 travel restrictions, take place at Africa Check’s office in Johannesburg.
Four fellows will be equipped with the knowledge, skills and tools to find reliable data, identify misinformation and disinformation, and produce high – quality fact – checking reports. The fellows will also gain insight into the organisational aspects of running a fact – checking organisation such as Africa Check.
