Dataphyte is accepting pitches from broadcast journalists in Nigeria on mainstreaming gender data into coverage of socioeconomic and development themes.
Successful applicants will become Dataphyte’s broadcast media fellows and will undertake an intensive two-day training that includes gendered data story ideation, data analysis, understanding fiscal data and data journalism for broadcast media.
Successful applicants/fellows will also receive support to do data broadcast programming for their pitches.

Requirements
- Applicants must be broadcast journalists affiliated with a broadcast media organisation.
- Applicants should be broadcast journalists in Nigeria’s Northern region (North Central, North West, North East)
- Pitches should major on gender issues.
- Local language broadcasters are encouraged to apply.
