The African Institute for Investigative Journalism (AIIJ) seeks to hire a skilled and professional investigative journalist to carry out high quality visual and audio investigations for both television and radio within set timelines.
The ideal candidate will have high level of interviewing skills, ability to speak at least four languages fluently decisive and sensitive under pressure, champion of product excellence, acute attention to detail and drive for perfection and ability to work long and odd hours in a fast – paced environment.
AIIJ is a non-profit media organisation that is creating a home for investigative journalism in Africa by using journalism as a tool for promoting social accountability, inform public discourse and create a nurturing space for professional and passionate investigative journalists.

Requirements
- Applicants should possess a degree in journalism, mass communication, arts, film/broadcast journalism or any related course.
- Applicants should have at least two years of working as an investigative journalist in a media organisation.
- Applicants should have deep familiarity with all aspects of TV production including technical processes of pre, during and post production.
