The National Press Foundation (NPF) is offering an online journalism fellowship and global reporting grants for journalists to cover rare diseases globally.
NPF will offer up to $3,000 in reporting grants to 20 journalists to cover travel expenses and time in executing a rare diseases project of their choosing. Selected fellows will attend an additional online session on 19 October 2022 with experts and coaches in narrative journalism.
NPF is a media foundation that works to make good journalists better by educating journalists on the complex issues of the day and train them to use the latest reporting tools and techniques.

Requirements
- The fellowship is open to journalists based in any country across the world.
- Journalists may be working in any medium (print, radio, TV, online) and may use any language.
- Employed journalists will need a letter of support from their editor while freelance journalists should submit a letter from a news outlet interested in publishing their work.
