The Pulitzer Center is accepting applications for a new reporting initiative called Your Work/Environment, focused on climate change and its effects on workers and work.
The reporting initiative seeks to explore the global climate risks playing out in fields and on factory floors and being discussed in company boardrooms.
The Pulitzer Center is a media nonprofit organisation that supports independent global journalism and journalists globally.
Freelance and staff journalists reporting from regions in Africa, Southeast Asia, Europe, and South America are encouraged to apply. All types of formats such as print, digital, broadcast TV, radio, and film projects, as well as data and computer-assisted journalism are accepted.
The Pulitzer Center will be giving grants to successful applicants in the range of $10,000-$25,000 per project, depending on the scope and complexity of the project, the media formats involved and the distribution plan.
Applications will be reviewed on a first-come, rolling basis and proposals that can be completed, including publication, in one-four months will be prioritized.
