The Foundation for Investigative Journalism (FIJ) is inviting applications for the role of an editor to head its news impact desk.
The desk is to be created as part of FIJ’s News Impact Project (NIP), an initiative that extends the value of news beyond informing, educating and entertaining to positively impacting the society.
FIJ seeks an experienced journalist to oversee the operations of the desk and give editorial direction to team members. Previous experience in a line editing role in a newsroom is the minimum requirement.
FIJ is an independent, not-for-profit media organisation that combats injustice, holds power to account and speaks for the voiceless.
